To commemorate 160 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and Belgium, Tohoku University is hosting Belgium Day on June 2 at Kawauchi campus.

The Belgian Ambassador to Japan Antoine Evrard will headline an evening of lectures and presentations showcasing Belgian culture, science and technology, as well as its history of exchange with Japan.
There will also be information on study abroad opportunities, and a networking session. This event is open to all students. Registration is not required.
